Song for Brighton and Hove's homeless

A local musician has written a song to celebrate a charity’s 15th birthday.

Stuart Barbour wrote and produced a track called Unseen in commemoration of Off The Fence, a Brighton-based homeless charity.

The track has been released on iTunes and costs 70p to download. All money raised through record sales will go towards new sleeping bags for the homeless.

For more information on Off The Fence and the charity single, visit www.offthefence.org.uk.

Homelessness is a lifestyle CHOICE. These people CHOOSE to be homeless.

Most of them earn way more than the average wage by begging, stealing and prostitution.

To prove this, the Salvation Army are running an advert at the moment saying it only takes £19 to get somebody off the street. Beggers earn thousands a week in the right spot.

Now you may call me a bigoted Daily Mail reader, but the Sally Army can't make this stuff up surely?

If these street urchins stopped drinking booze all day, stopped doing drugs and stopped mugging people, there would not be this issue.

^ Troll.

You complain that you don't make enough money all the time on this site.

So, if beggers earn thousands each week why don't you try that as your new career choice?

Because if you earn thousands per week you can buy a really nice house and then move out of it. After all earning thousands per week AND being homeless is a choice.

I wouldn't call you a Daily Mail reader. They are, after all, more clever than you.

Interesting.........
....

I am certainly not rich but can not remember complaining I do not earn enough money.

I suppose coming back from a luxury holiday on Boxing Day left me a little skint.

What an odd little man you are.

And by the way, if I am a "troll", then why are you biting? Again very odd.

I notice there are a number of people that have taken up permanent residence in doorways up North Street.
A very sad reflection of society and an uncaring government.
Wait till the mass evictions next year when the bedroom tax comes in. Not to mention half a million losing DLA and carers losing their pittance of an allowance. "All in this together". Yeah right.

Plenty of time to get work and accumulate funds to avoid any potential loss of accommodation then.

Very much looking forward to being able to walk around Brighton without the eyesores of these scruffy drunken miscreants drinking special brew paid for through my taxes.

Bring on the cuts and lets make sure this is just the start of the process.

Merry Xmas
