A BRIGHTON pedestrian was pinned under a car after a crash in the city on Christmas Day.
Fire brigades had to lift the car to release the 26-year-old woman after the accident at about 10.05pm.
She was struck after a collision between a Mercedes taxi and a Citroen C4 on Montpelier Place.
She is believed to have been seriously injured.
A 67-year-old man has been arrested for causing serious injury by driving dangerously.
