A man who died after falling from a car park in Worthing was 73 and from Shoreham.
Ambulance crews were called to Ann Street just after 1pm yesterday (December 26) after a man fell from the Guildbourne Centre multi-storey car park.
The road was cornered off by police while efforts were made to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The gentleman is yet to be named, however formal identification is due to take place on Monday.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Police were called to the Guildbourne Centre car park in Worthing just after 1pm on Wednesday 26 December, following a report that a man had fallen to the ground from the roof.
"His death was confirmed at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances and the Coroners Officer is continuing enquiries. The man was 73, and from Shoreham. Post-mortem and formal identification are due to take place on Monday 31 December."
