Police searching for owner of camera following trio of arrests
12:23pm Thursday 3rd January 2013 in News By Ben James
Police are searching for the owner of a Nikon camera which they believe was stolen in the run up to Christmas.
On December 18, two 20-year-old men from Peacehaven and a 17-year-old boy from Newhaven were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods after being found with the black SLR camera.
Sergeant Dave Bennett, of Brighton Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "We would like to hear from anyone who has lost, or believes they may have had stolen, a camera matching the description.
"Unfortunately we have no further details as to where or when this may have taken place."
The three suspects have been bailed until January 29 pending further enquiries.
Anyone with information should contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 839 of 18/12.

After consecutive government cuts to the police budget, I hope such a report would show very little activity on the police's part.
The police need to focusing their remaining strength on ensuring we feel safe.
Leave the consumer goods to the insurance companies.
