The man who died in a black Audi A3 that crashed near Barcombe on December 29 has been named.
Glyn Andrew Thomas, 38, of Town Littleworth, Cooksbridge, Lewes, died when his car left the road between Deadmantree Hill and Barcombe Cross and crashed into a tree at around 1.05am on Saturday.
A 43-year-old man, also from Cooksbridge, who was a passenger in the vehicle, received minor injuries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to call 101 quoting Operation Arcadia or e-mail collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk.
