Assault in Ore - police appeal for witnesses

An Ore man was attacked as he carried his shopping home.
The man in his late 30s was walking through Manhattan Gardens in the town when he was assaulted from behind.
The attack between 1pm and 1.30pm left him in need of hospital treatment.
He is believed to have been attacked by another man who was white, aged in his 20s, 5ft 9in and with straight mousey brown hair brushed to one side. He was wearing a blue shell suit top and dark, possibly black, trousers.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident on December 27 or with information about the attack to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 780 of December 27.
