Cold snap forecast for Sussex this weekend

Sussex is bracing itself for a cold snap this weekend.

The Met Office is forecasting snow for the county on Saturday and Sunday with the risk of more on Monday.

Temperatures are set to plummet to -2C but experts warn it could feel as cold as -7C.

The icy conditions could lead to disruption during Monday morning's rush hour.

Last Siberian cold front I remember was about 1968? when I was knee high to a sparrow, was snow drifts right across the country the snow came up past our waist, you had to dig your way out and this stayed like this for what seemed like ever but as a nation we muddled through, we even went to school but I bet you this time round the kids will all be wimps and needing days off cause their toes might drop off.....lmbo
