Woodingdean career criminal still on the run
8:00am Saturday 19th January 2013 in News
A career criminal is still on the loose in Brighton ten days after police offered a reward for his recapture.
Daniel Sallis, 27, from Woodingdean, is wanted for recall to prison for breaching the terms of his release from a six-year stretch for burgling Co-ops and dangerous driving.
He is 5ft 10in and stocky with short brown hair.
He is blind in one eye and has a local accent. He was released from prison in October.
He has no fixed address but is said to have links to Woodingdean, Hove and Southwick.
Sussex Police has offered a £500 reward for information leading to his arrest.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sussex Police on 101, quoting serial 1179 of January 2.

Burgling Co-Ops and dangerous driving?
A regular Jack the Ripper.
I can see why the police want him locked up.
I bet Brightonians can hardly sleep at night while he is on the loose.

He is a really nasty piece of work and not some petty shoplifter.

There's nothing like taking personal responsibility for your actions - maybe his sisters ought to encourage him to hand himself in rather than bleating on about how the police should be targetting paedophies instead.

and being convicted of dangerous driving is a danger to the public.
He has been a thief for many years why should he be allowed to go free.
I agree with the police he should be locked up.

It would seem that a lot of it has been caused by him.
He is not called a career criminal for nothing .
He has been charged and found guilty of many criminal offences .

Oh really, so most of the crime in this (big) city is caused by one person?? Think u need too go back too the drawing board and get your figures straight.
Or do you believe that if the person committing the crime is a friend of yours ,
then that makes the crimes acceptable ?
and they should go unpunished ?

He knows the rules .
If an offender breaks the terms and conditions of their prison release licence then they may be recalled to prison immediately,
All you have to do to stay out of prison is , don’t break the law and keep your appointments .
It doesn’t seem that difficult does it ?
A lot of ex prisoners chose to go back to jail so it cant be that bad there.
Maybe he likes the routine / security of prison life and wants to go back.
