Katie Price married husband because name is 'close' to one suggested by psychic

Katie Price has claimed she married her third husband because his name is "close" to one suggested by a clairvoyant.

The glamour girl tied the knot with stripper Kieran Hayler in the Caribbean earlier this week, after dating him since last month.

Brighton-born Katie's engagement was exclusively first revealed in The Argus last week after she was spotted shopping for rungs with Kieran in the Lanes.

Katie said a clairvoyant told her she would tie the knot with a man called "Kevin".

She said: "I saw a medium who told me I'd already met the person I was going to marry. She also said his name was Kevin."

At the time Katie said Kieran had been pursuing her for her phone number.

She said: "His name is also close to Kevin so it all became clear. I took a friend with me who made notes during the session with the medium because I wanted to make sure I'd heard everything accurately.”

Kieran, 25, is a part-time stripper who briefly appeared performing at a hen do in BBC One's EastEnders. He was recently filmed naked in a hot-tub with the mother of actor Joe Swash for the ITV2 show Fake Reaction. He also works for a building firm.

Katie, 34, said she did not understand why she was given a "hard time" for her choices after a third marriage. She pointed to Joan Collins, Elizabeth Taylor and Zsa Zsa Gabor, each of whom has been married several times.

"I get stick, but no-one has picked on them for all the marriages they've had," she claimed.

Katie's second marriage, to cagefighter Alex Reid, also followed a fairly brief romance, and they were married for less than a year before parting in early 2011. Their divorce followed last year.

Her first marriage, to singer Peter Andre, whom she met while a contestant on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, lasted four years. She has two children from that relationship and another son from a fling with footballer Dwight Yorke. The children were not present at the wedding.

Katie teamed up with Kieran after splitting from previous fiance Argentinian Leandro Penna, announcing the end of their relationship in November. They had dated for much of last year.

This woman really is a waste of space. Why is this even news? Very few people like her, very few people care about her or what she does. So, a pneumatic Barbie doll who can't keep her clothes on, gets married for the umpteenth time. Mail it to last week, when still nobody cared.

It sounds to me like you are all been very bitter and twisted, after all choosing a life partner based on the possibility of a clairvoyant having been slightly wrong surely isn't such a bad idea is it?
What could possibly go wrong with that superb bit of thinking/planning.
I expect she should be speaking to Kitkat to help him with our important council decisions.

I am off to find myself a rung. Perhaps I shall try the ladder department at B&Q. MInd you, for all Katie P is a t***. at least she knew her husband before they married. In some cultures you only meet on the day of the ceremony itself yet we aren't allowed to criticise that.
