Thieves steal chainsaws from Hastings home

Thieves broke into a shed, stealing chainsaws.

It was targeted in Beaufort Road, Hastings, on Friday, January 11.

The thieves broke into the garden shed at a private property and stole two Stihl chainsaws and a Stihl leaf blower.

DC Jim Parkinson said: “These are expensive items to replace. I would encourage anyone to not only secure their shed with an alarm but also to register equipment on the free property identification website Immobilise which is supported by police forces nationally.”

Call Sussex Police on 101.
