Sussex charities are looking for volunteers.
Young Pioneers in Ashburnham, near Battle, was founded by Luke Lancaster, then aged 12, after he was bullied at school. It provides education and support to motivate vulnerable young people to progress in life.
Sheena Lancaster, from Young Pioneers, said: "We are looking for a range of volunteers to help with our charity which equips young people with the skills they need to overcome adversity."
Sovereign Disabled Swimming Club, in Eastbourne, is looking for volunteers to support disabled people to enjoy exercise in the water and to provide swimming support to more proficient swimmers.
Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project (BUCFP), which supports families and individuals to challenge the effects of poverty and deprivation, is looking for volunteers to mentor families, help with art and craft groups and assist with day-to-day practical tasks.
