The roads might be ok but i think its more of a health and safety matter for when the children have their breaks

It's no wonder migrant workers are more likely to get work than the lazy and poorly educated kids produced by lazy poorly educated people in the UK.

Why are schools closed? We've had a couple of inches of snow, not howling snowdrifts and blizzards. Why are the roads impassable? We've been warned about this for at least two weeks, so why is no one prepared? Appalling, amateur and incompetent.

Maxwell why are you saying that guy is lazy. Of course education is important I agree with that, but safety is first when it comes to your child. Why are you judging someone when you don't even know them? It's quite easy for a car to skid on these icy conditions god forbid it doesn't happen and plow into children. Don't judge people when it comes to caring about their children's safety.

Most kids in the UK are the size of small houses and can hardly breathe when they walk because they are so obese and take such little exercise because their mollycoddling parents keep them indoors and apparently safe.
As for most kids being off school, most are skating about on icy pavements near busy roads or hurtling down steep roads on bits of plastic or in parks crashing into trees and hedges. Now that's dangerous.
As for martyt, your children should be terrified of your mad anger and poor spelling.
And you lazy devil get out and shovel the snow and grit your road and pavement as the kids and adults did in our street., but I suppose you are a taker and expect the council to do that for you as well.
You sound lazy to me.

Of course you do marty, of course you do, but I wont be using your business because instead of doing everything you can to get out of bed and provide services to your customers, you want to use the snow as an excuse to laze about in bed and moan about the roads not being gritted.

Why, therefore, do you think your comments are acceptable? What you clearly think IS acceptable is to utilise the education system in this country and then have the audacity to slag it off!! I also did my paper round, from Patcham village, up Mackie Avenue and a good few of the avenues off it, finishing at the Ladies Mile pub. It took me over four hours. Snow came up over my wellingtons so most of it was done with cold wet feet.
