Jury sworn in on sex assault and voyeurism case
1:42pm Monday 21st January 2013 in News By Emily Walker, Chief Reporter
Four footballers have appeared at the Old Bailey accused of sexual assault and voyeurism.
The offences are alleged to have taken place at the Jury's Inn hotel in Brighton in July 2011.
Brighton and Hove Albion players Anton Rodgers, 19, Lewis Dunk, 21, and George Barker, 21, and former team-mate Steve Cook, 21, who now plays for Bournemouth, deny the charges.
The players are alleged to have assaulted a 19-year-old woman at the hotel.
Rodgers and Barker, both of Highview Avenue North, Brighton, Dunk, of Woodbourne Avenue, Brighton, and Cook, of Perth Road, St Leonards, are on bail.
A jury was sworn in and will return tomorrow when the case will be opened.
