Update: Pedestrian killed after being struck by lorry on A27

A man has died after being struck by a lorry on the A27.
The crash involving a pedestrian happened at 7.25am today.
The road is currently closed eastbound at the Fishbourne roundabout and traffic is being diverted at the A27 junction with the A259 at Warblington.
The westbound lane has re-opened to allow traffic to move.
The eastbound road is likely to be closed for another three hours and there is significant traffic congestion from Hampshire into West Sussex .
Sussex Police said: "Drivers are asked to be patient or advised to avoid the area if possible."
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident. Ring Sussex Police on 101 quoting Operation Kirkcaldy.
