Trying to drive home on the Lewes Road last night, proved the complete futility of the councils plan for the road

Spare a thought for those of us up in Westdene! We saw some 27 buses yesterday -for the first time since Friday - but they went again about 3.30pm. If you haven't got a 4x4 up here, you've virtually been stuck since Friday. Our weather isn't the same as down in Brighton, we check what it'll be like in Crawley to get an idea - we live on The Downs!

Secondly, I delivered some much needed vittels, Milk and Bread to an Elerly relative up at Lyminster road, Hollingbury. The road was impassible safetly to anyone not in a 4x4 like I was, so which idiot drove a Bus up there and got stuck in Woodbourne Ave, blocking it.
Brighton has a particular problem when the weather is cold and snowy, It is made up of 'very steep hills'.
Please use common sense in future.
