Woman hit by lorry near Rye

A pensioner was hit by a lorry in a car park near Rye.
The 62-year-old woman suffered what police described as "serious leg injuries" after the accident on the sliproad into the car park of Jempson's food store in Peasmarsh, at 12.30pm on Tuesday.
She was airlifted to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
Anyone who swa what happened is asked to call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 705 of January 22.
