The windows of a library have been daubed in ‘blood’.

The word “banned” has been painted in fake blood across the windows of the Jubilee Library in Brighton.

The display is part of an exhibition of banned books and films as part of the B Right On Festival.

Vince Law’s solo exhibition I Am A Poem will be at the library until February 13 as part of LGBT Month.

Might have been a good idea to include some of the books and films that will be in this? Otherwise why bother?

For "fake blood" read "paint".

The photographer could have thought about asking him to change his shirt so he did not have to show his sweaty armpits!

It is not 'art' to just paint a word badly claiming that red paint is 'blood'. This just looks like some child's vandalism rather than the work of a creative person......why does the library not showcase the many really talented artists we have in the city?

I can't see any books or art in the photo. Have they been banned? Christopher Hawtree used to have a lot to say about that until he became a Green councillor and the library bus was axed.
That's a U turn to drive anyone round the bend.
