Boy hit by car in Bexhill

A six-year old boy suffered broken bones when he was struck by a car.
The incident happened on Tuesday morning February 5) in Cornwall Road, Bexhill.
The boy was taken to the Conquest Hospital at Hastings to be treated for a broken ankle. A 51-year old Eastbourne woman driving the blue Ford Fiesta was not injured.
Sussex Police said anyone who saw the incident should contact them.
