Firefighters had to cut a child free from school fencing after he got his foot trapped playing a playground game.
The nine-year-old boy had his foot trapped in a fence at St Luke’s Primary School in Queens Park Rise, Brighton at midday today as he played a game with his friends to keep off the ground.
Firefighters from Roedean Fire Station had to cut away fencing around his foot to free him in an operation that lasted about 20 minutes.
Paramedics were also on the scene to attend to the child’s bruised foot.
