THE circus is coming to Middlesbrough for one show only – promising hilarity.

Cirque Du Hilarious stars Clive Webb and Danny Adams, best known in the region for appearing in pantomime at Newcastle Theatre Royal.

Their new show, Daredevils And Clowns, will be staged at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Tuesday, February 19, at 2pm.

The two-hour performance is packed with magic, madness, mayhem, comedy dancing girls, slapstick, the now-legendary rock band Clownforce and the mysterious Dangerous Alan.

Rob Guest, town hall business development manager, said: “Danny and Clive have rightly established themselves in the heart of the North-East for their work in pantomime. They are superb performers and we’re looking forward to them unleashing their special brand of slapstick and mayhem on Middlesbrough.”

Tickets start at £9 and are available on 01642-729729 or online at middlesbroughtownhall online.co.uk.

Cast members include Claire Greenaway, who was born in Chester le Street, and Oliver Lyne, who attended Durham University. For tickets and more details, ring the box office on 01325-486555.
