Volunteers with back pain sought for Brighton University treatment

Volunteers with back problems are needed to help with research that could lead to better physiotherapy treatment.
The University of Brighton is looking for people who regularly suffer with lower back pain.
Those taking part in the study will get physiotherapy assessments and have treatment involving applying pressure to the back.
The research is being carried out by Clair Hebron, a senior physiotherapy lecturer at the university’s School of Health Professions in Eastbourne.
She is in the final year of her PhD studies investigating the treatment of lower back pain.
Volunteers must be 18-65, not currently undergoing treatment and have had symptoms for three months or more.
The study involves visiting the Eastbourne campus three times and all volunteers will be given individual advice on how best to manage their symptoms.
