I love it when crime backfires, lets hope the police find the attacker then it really would be a good news story. On our streets at night you have to be very carefull, over the last year visable police have almost disappeared after dark.Late bars and clubs have their own security backed up by emergency responce vehicles that look like police cars but manned by private security.Unfortunate
ly this has led to police being took of the streets to save money so dont expect them to help you in your time of need.It shows how poorly we are policed now if yobs can do a 2 hr rampage burning out cars etc.Luckily we get a new man in charge of police next month who hopefully will put police back on the beat after dark as the present leader is only concerned with his budget and golden handshake leaving areas like st james street as dangerous as they were 10 yrs ago.

Few years back we would have been shocked at such a crime in this area.

Now we dont even blink an eye.
