Body found inside boarded up pub in Haywards Heath

A body has been found inside a boarded up pub.

Police were called shortly after 3pm yesterday afternoon (February 15) to the derelict Mayflower Pub, in America Lane, Haywards Heath, following reports of a man’s body being found.

A force spokeswoman said that they were not treating the death as suspicious.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting incident 1047 of February 15.

thats really sad, havent been to haywards for a while, didnt know it was even shut down, miss the old Eagle. RIP who ever u are
