Brighton care home handyman charged with eight sexual offences

A care home handyman has been charged with eight counts of sexual offences against staff and residents.

Paul Brown, of Clarendon Road, Hove, has been bailed to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on March 1.

The charges, which date back to 2006, are said to have taken place in a Brighton care home.

The 55-year-old will face five counts of sexual assault against five female members of staff.

One count of harassment against a member of staff, one count sexual activity against a mentally disordered female patient and one count of being observed doing a private act with an elderly patient.

Mr Brown was arrested in December last year.
