Brighton fire crew called to tackle Preston Park blaze

Firefighters were called to a city park in the early hours to tackle an unmanned bonfire.

The engine from Preston Circus made the short journey to Preston Park, in Brighton, shortly before 3am this morning (February 25).

When they arrived the bonfire was still smouldering.

It was quickly put it out and the crew returned to base.

There were no reported injuries.

Surely the bonfire should be regarded as gender-neutral? Could the Greens advise us: should it therefore be unpersoned or disingendered perhaps?
