THERE was such fun when MP Harriett Baldwin joined Bridget Jones and Miranda actress Sally Phillips at an event to raise the profile of mental health charity Scope.
The charity is asking the government to offer better support to families through a Bill which is now going through Parliament.
Mrs Baldwin, MP for west Worcestershire, said: “Families with disabled children can face incredibly difficult challenges and it is important that the government looks at what it can do to help out.
“Families with disabled children are struggling with things we take for granted such as childcare or nursery places, appropriate schools, or even healthcare in their local area.
“I am happy to offer my support to Scope and help to raise awareness of this issue both locally and nationally.”
