Cigarettes stolen in burglary at shop in Partridge Green
Two men stole a large amount of cigarettes from a shop in Partridge Green.
The burglary took place at the Co Op in High Street in the early hours on Saturday, February 23.
Two men were seen leaving the shop at about 3am in a black 4 x 4 car taking with them the cigarettes.
DC Andy Blythman said: "This is the latest in a series of nine burglaries, each at Co Ops in Sussex. Thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes have been stolen in these burglaries, each taking place in the early hours with people breaking in and targeting just cigarettes.
"We are seeking witnesses and we are working with neighbouring forces in trying to trace the offenders."
Anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information about who may be involved is asked to contact police on 101 quoting serial 156 23/2 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
