12:02pm Wednesday 27th February 2013 in News
A burglar broke into a cottage before driving off in a stolen car.
The raid happened at a home in The Street, Walberton, Arundel on Saturday February 23.
At some time between 7pm and 8pm a cottage was broken into through an upstairs window. Cash was taken along with car keys belonging to a Silver Citroen Xsara, which was then driven off.
The vehicle stolen was a silver Citroen Xsara, registration LC54 VNK, which was later seen being driven along the A27 at Arundel.
DC Della Squires said: "I am keen to talk to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area on the 23 February or has seen the stolen car being driven around or parked up in their street.
"If you information that could help us with our enquiries, then please call101 quoting serial 1592 23/2 or leave an anonymous message with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
