Bus and car crash into Lewes Prison wall

A bus has hit a car which has smashed into a wall in Lewes.

The car has crashed into Lewes Prison, witnesses said.

Police confirmed the road outside the prison was closed following the 10am smash today (March 1).

No one is believed to be seriously injured.

Car - intended direction of travel south, bus - north.
Prison is on west side of the road!!

Do they now have lots of large trees inside Lewes prison?
It would appear so if this car really did crash into the prison wall!!?

Guess the Argus has miss-reported another story...That makes 3 today alone!

Yes, I saw the blockage after it happened. Bus was headed south. I have no idea why it was in the northbound lane, but it was!

Argus got it right,

Oh, but it was just the outside wall. Had the car managed to breach it would have only hit earth.

It looks like a scene from James Bond and the title is a blockbuster title, all we need now it he follow up report on the police helicopter on the scene.
