Very sad news. I didn't know him personally but visited his shop regularly. A real gentleman.

Mike wiill be missed by the whole community of St James Street, a man who always had the area at the centre of his heart. A tireless community activist, always contributing with his efforts and hard work to improve the area he called his home.

Mike was a legend, god he loved Brighton he hated how the town had come under such rule recently though.. He said to me before passing: "Id vote conservative, they let people be people, let hard working people keep their money, promote ambition and drive... The rest are all for helping people that don't want to bother in life.. How sad a democracy is that. Be your own person... Don't toe the line.. Don't get brain washed by western culture and 'live by our rules' mentality.. Vote conservative for freedom from local government." god bless him
