Hundreds of youngsters took part in the delayed Iconiq Shlurp! Mini Mile warm-up this week.

The event had been due to take place on January 29 but awful weather meant it had to be postponed.

The rescheduled event took place at Patcham High School with 200 children aged between six and 11 taking part.

Medals were given out for those who finished first, second and third.

The warm-up was before the real mini mile races which take place on April 14 – on the same day as the Brighton Marathon.
