Hassocks man in court on murder charge

A man appeared in court yesterday (March 5) charged with murder.
Kayden Smith, 28, of Belmont Close, Hassocks, is accused of stabbing Danish tourist Jan Jensen in August.
Mr Jenson, a 52-year-old tattoo artist, was attacked in Hassocks
Smith was due to enter a plea to the charge at Lewes Crown Court, but the case was adjourned until April 8.
