Rizzle Kicks top Shakedown bill

A hip hop sensation will headline their hometown festival.

Rizzle Kicks top the bill at the final Shakedown festival in Stammer Park in September.

The Brighton duo is one of the biggest names in urban music and have sold over a million singles in the UK. Their new album is set to be released this summer.

Britain's urban pop superstar Labrinth(corr) is also confirmed to perform. DJ Fresh will be playing with a full live band, while singer/songwriter Maverick Sabre will showcase his take on soul and r n' b.

Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe returns for a third successive year.

The one-day festival will take place on Saturday September 28, followed by a one-day family-focused event. The organiser has agreed to make this the last Shakedown at Stanmer Park and are in talks with the Brighton and Hove City Council over a new venue next year.

final - thank god to that @ Cave, it may sound like rubbish to you but those who enjoy a good rave getting drunk and covered in mud think differently.

Rizzle Kicks are not a festival headliner by anyones standard.

Rizzle Kicks must be popular as, according to the headline, they have topped Shakedown Bill, an equally nondescript outfit.

Never heard of them, how about a proper music festival for the residents of Brighton, not just a student festival.
