Snow set to hit Sussex this weekend

Snow could fall on Sussex affecting schools, commuters and businesses early next week.

The Met Office has issued a weather warning predicting between three and five centimetres will fall on the south coast.

With snow expected to start falling at about 8pm on Sunday and continuing through most of Monday, forecasters are warning people to plan ahead.

Temperatures are expected to fall below zero overnight before reaching a maximum of 3C during the day.

However, strong, freezing winds will make it feel even colder.

Forecasters add the cold snap is expected to last all next week.

Gritting teams across the county are gearing themselves up to treat the primary roads and keep the county moving.

But she's one of the most important women in the country and Brighton would fall apart without her....

Another "heat or eat" day?!

To heat the home and go hungry, or eat and go cold!

That sadly is the the question to a lot struggling to make ends meet!- though NOT the powers that be/bankers/royalty and the odd footballer here and there!

Nothing like a bit of scaremongering to bring everything to a standstill - 'spect the supermarket shelves will be emptied and railway staff will be out in force looking for the wrong kind of rain, snow or leaves . . . . . .
