Woman, 19, seriously injured in snow crash

A teenager has been seriously injured following a crash last night.
The 19-year-old woman was taken to East Surrey Hospital following a collision on the M23 southbound near Maidenbower, Crawley.
The crash, involving three vehicles, took place shortly before 11pm.
A Sussex Police spokesman said she suffered head injured.
Between 4pm and 9am there were 161 damage only collisions across Sussex reported to police including one at London Road, Brighton, at about 9.15pm.
A car slid off the road and smashed into a wall.
There were nine slight injury collisions.
There were also crashes not reported to police including an incident off Bear Road, Brighton.
A vehicle had smashed into a wall and a neighbour’s vehicle.
