Cubs from across Sussex who earned their faith badge
More than 100 Cub Scouts from across Sussex have been recognised for their efforts in getting their faith badge.
The children, who are based around the county including Brighton, Peacehaven, Bexhill and Hastings, gathered at St Mary’s Church in Barcombe at the weekend.
To get their badge, Cubs have to find out about the people involved in a place of worship, learn about important or sacred objects and about festivals and customs and the stories important to that faith.
They also choose a favourite religious song and choose or write a prayer.
The vicar at St Mary's, the Reverend James Hollingsworth, said: “They love their badges and I often help them with their faith badge.
“It’s a lot of fun and the children see something of why our faith is so important to us.
