Bookmakers have offered a £10,000 reward for help tracing a man wanted for a series of armed robberies.

The man, who has been connected with eight offences since February this year, is thought to have raided two in bookmakers in Sussex.

The first incident was on February 18 when the William Hill, The Boulevard, in Crawley, was hit.

Nine days later the man robbed staff at gunpoint at the Ladbrokes, Broadwalk, also in Crawley.

The other offences took place in Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire and Leicestershire.

The suspect is described as black, between 5ft 5ins and 6ft tall and possibly in his late 30s early 40s.

He was wearing a black hooded top for seven of the eight offences and a grey hooded top for the other.

He has also been seen wearing a black hat with a scarf covering his face and white trainers.

The £10,000 reward is payable on conviction.

Anyone with information should contact the police on 101.
