Horse rescued from swimming pool

A horse had to be rescued from a swimming pool this morning.

Firefighters were called to rescue the horse from the private pool of a property off the A265 in Burwash at 10.30am.

But the horse was freed before they arrived.

The pool had steps and it is believed the horse walked into the pool.

Was it your pool and did you capture the moment on camera?

So the horse walked in and then out again - er why is this even a story when nothing really happened? Hopefully the owners of the swimming pool will now get a cover on it to stop this happening again?

Are you sure they were not just marinating it? Eating horse seems all the rage lately.

The ghost of Richard III probably now resides in the pool, having moved there after being disturbed in Leicester.
