Elderly woman dead after Findon Valley fire

An elderly woman has died after a blaze ripped through a bungalow.
Emergency services were called to a property in Lime Tree Avenue in Findon Valley, Worthing, at about 2.40am this morning.
Three vehicles from Worthing fire station attended and crews are still there.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: “The body of an elderly woman, believed to be the sole occupant, was found in the address.
“At this early stage the death is being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are under way.”
