Hove firefighters cut teenager free from high chair

A teenager had to be cut free from a high chair by firefighters.
Crews were called to a property in Goldstone Villas, Hove at about 11.45pm last night to release the 19-year-old female.
The rescue took about 15 minutes.
A spokeswoman for East Sussex Fire and Rescue said: “You would have thought she would know better at that age.”

A person (all be it stupid) needed rescuing. The Fire & RESCUE service are there for exactly this sort of thing.
Would you prefer it if they didn't RESCUE people from their smashed up vehicles, because they were too stupid to slow down in the rain / stop tailgating etc?
Therefore..... People who need to be rescued (for whatever reason) need to be rescued. That is why the RESCUE services exist!

Lets hope no one died as a result of the fire fighters attending to her, rather than a fire, or a road accident.
Why could no one else of helped the girl out of the chair? I'm sure all the fire service did was take it apart, or cut it up with a saw.
Could none of you figure that out?
Maybe the 'stupid' gene runs in the family!!
