Brick thrown through van windscreen on A27
12:57pm Monday 18th March 2013 in News
A van driver was left shaken after a brick was hurled from a motorway bridge and smashed through his windscreen.
The brick smashed the windscreen of a white Citroen Relay van travelling east on the A27 between the Hampshire border and Chichester at about 6pm on Saturday as it passed the first bridge into Sussex after Emsworth.
The driver, from Selsey, was shaken by the incident but suffered no injuries.
Sussex Police are now appealing for information after two youths were seen throwing bricks from a flyover.
Any witness or anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting serial 1181 of 16/3.
