It was a day for celebrations at a Brighton nursery.

Roundabout nursery in Whitehawk is celebrating after it received an outstanding grade in its latest Ofsted report last week.

The report from the school watchdog said: “There is an extremely strong emphasis on children and families’ individuality.”

The inspectors also found that there were exceptionally close and warm relationships between children and staff and children were happy and settled in the nursery.

Inspectors reported many of the children initially identified by the nursery in Whitehawk as significantly delayed in communication, language, cognitive skills, and/or social skills were now at or above their developmental age.

Good old Whitehawk.
Love it to bits.
One of the only things I miss about the UK.
Proper people and a proper place.

A very important story. If anything is going to give our kids from poorer areas a decent life chance it's schools and projects like this. Bravo.

Then you are an exception . But given the choice I would rather cut off my right arm than bring up my children in whitehawk .

Don't worry you'd fit in nicely- most of the people there are as 'armless as anywhere else.

You are a head teacher in Spain but failed to add an apostrophe at the end of your 'joke' !
