Bid to alter new homes’ look in Sussex countryside

Developers have applied to make changes to a major housing project.

A Scheme to build 38 homes in Chalkers Lane, Hurstpierpoint, was granted permission in November last year despite almost 30 objections.

However developers have now applied to Mid Sussex District Council to make aesthetic changes to nine of the properties by reducing the amount of brick patterning and removing flint details and chimneys.
