Man charged over Eastbourne street robbery

A man has been charged with a robbery at a convenience store.
Gavin Johnson, 30, of no fixed address, has been charged with robbery after an incident at Nisa Local in Green Street, Eastbourne, at about 8.55pm on Friday, March 15.
He will appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court.
A 26-year-old woman from Eastbourne, who was also arrested on suspicion of robbery, has been released on bail until June 14, pending further inquiries.
