A car hit a tree in Hove last night.

The white Vauxhall Corsa crashed at about 11.25pm on Wednesday, March 20, on Woodland Drive at the junction with Chartfield Way.

The driver, a 54-year-old man, was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital with minor injuries.

Firefighters were called to the scene but the driver did not need to be cut out of the car.
