A mother has said her son is “not the boy I know anymore” after undergoing radiotherapy treatment which she went to the High Court to prevent.
Sally Roberts, from Withdean, Brighton, said she feels that she failed as a mother.
She said Neon, eight, has changed because of his treatment.
In an interview with the Sunday Mirror, Ms Roberts said her son is weak and drained.
Neon suffers from cancer and doctors said he needed radiotherapy. But his mother did not want this and took him away. Her fight went to the High Court which ruled he must have it.
Speaking yesterday, Ms Roberts, who has a daughter Elektra, said Neon was “broken”.
