A fire in a barn broke out at midnight – and is still burning eight hours on.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue spokesman said four crews attended the blaze in Little Heaven Farm, New Road, Ringmer, near Lewes.
The barn measures 30m by 50m and was filled with 200 tonnes of straw.
A spokeswoman said: “It’s well alight and is being allowed to burn out.”
The barn is next to another one containing 50 cattle.
They have had cooling fans placed near them, so they do not suffer.
