POLICE are hunting a man who stole a pub landlord’s mobile phone.
The thief stepped behind the bar of the Locomotive pub, Byerley Road, Shildon, at 3.53pm on Monday, May 13, when the landlord’s back was turned and stole a Nokia 6300 phone.
The crook was wearing a top which had the word Tokyo written on it. He left in a dark grey vehicle similar to a Corsa or Fiesta.
Anyone who can help trace the thief is asked to call PC Paul Tingle, at Bishop Auckland Police Station, on 101.
