A care worker is accused of trying to come on to a patient at his nursing home, telling her he was looking at her “beautiful body” before trying to kiss her.
Michel Amukhobu is accused of misconduct while working at Ancaster Court Nursing Home in Bexhill.
A Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) panel will next month hear the allegations against Amukhobu.
In 2007 and 2008 he is said to have asked one patient, named only as Ms E “Are you a noisemaker?”
He is also reported to have said to her “I’m sure I can make you scream” and to have followed her around the home.
He reportedly said to her: “It’s just a bit of fun, you’ve had everyone else here so I don’t understand what is different with me”, or words to that effect, and touched her leg.
It is also alleged he attended work while drunk, slept on duty and failed to respond to alerts..
