The world’s most famous agent, James Bond 007 , is known for secret identities and stealthy undercover work.
But now a series of mysterious Bond-related warning signs have been spotted by a passerby in Rottingdean.
His name is Howell, Kevin Howell.
He spotted the humorous notices for the first time as he walked along Rottingdean seafront last Sunday.
Mr Howell, a freelance animator and illustrator from Saltdean, said: “No one else I know has commented on them that I know of.
“In fact when I was there with Tony [the photographer] no one seemed to be noticing them. I guess they just blend in with all the other signage about rock slides and groins etc. so no one gives them a second look.
“I liked them, that’s why I took the photos.
“They made me smile as I had always wondered what was on the other side of those mysterious steel doors.
“Rottingdean has its own Bansky (though he stencil sprays).”
